About Institute

This Institute is established in 1999 under the aegis of Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society, a charitable Society working in the field of Health & Education since 1952, with a view to provide quality education. BCIHMCT, New Delhi is a progressive Hotel Management Institute and is among the Top 10 Hotel Management Colleges in the country. The institute has created a niche for itself as a source of competent managerial and technical manpower for the hotel industry. The Institute is Accredited with Grade "A+" by NAAC , an autonomous body under UGC, as Quality Institution.

BCIHMCT, New Delhi is the First Hotel Management Institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi awarding a four-year degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology and is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) Ministry of HRD, Government of India. BCIHMCT is graded as an A+ Category Institute by Delhi Govt and GGSIP University, Delhi.

BCIHMCT is ranked amongst Top Ten Hotel Management College of the Country as per India Today – MDRA Survey in 2026 (since 2018).

BCIHMCT has been ranked amongst top ten Best Hotel Management Colleges in India as per The Week–Hansa Research Survey in 2026 (from 2016 onwards) Also, BCHIMCT has been ranked #1 amongst Private Hotel Management Colleges in North Zone & #2 in Private Hotel Management Colleges of India as per the survey conducted by The Week–Hansa Research Survey in 2026.

Since The Outlook Magazine began its rigorous Professional College Surveys in 2010, BCIHMCT has never dropped out of the Top 10 circle for elite Hotel Management Institute in India (17th consecutive year: 2026). When Outlook - ICARE Ranking narrowed categories specifically to the best Private Hotel Management Institutes, BCIHMCT peaked nationally at Rank #2 (2021 & 2022).
